Jess Fitzgerald (she/her) is an artist and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) who is currently Mothering and Making in the Mojave Desert of California. Her creative practice is process-based and intuitively guided. 

Drawing inspiration from the expansive desert landscapes of her home in Landers, CA, her latest paintings are visual maps of the psyche, created in an attempt to understand the universal concepts underlying her own, inward journey. She likens this exploration of personal myth and symbology to the process of constructing a field guide for her life and memories.

She is looking forward to sharing her new works and opening her studio to the public for this year’s HWY 62 Open Studio Art Tours in October 2024.
